Johnson Pet Door
One thing you need to consider before getting a dog is what you will do with your dog when you are not home. The dog will still need to get outside every few hours to do their business. We fixed that problem by installing a pet door.
Years ago, before I was even born, my mom worked just 10 minutes away from home. As you can imagine, this was convenient for many different reasons — not the least of which was being able to stop by during her lunch hour in order to take her dogs for a walk.
This arrangement was perfect, and she never had to worry about coming home to an unpleasant “surprise” left by her pooches. But it didn’t last long.
She and my dad moved to the country and suddenly her commute was more than an hour each way. She was not going to leave her dogs locked outside all day, so they decided to get a Johnson pet door.
Once they decided which Johnson pet door they wanted, my mom went out to the store to get one. Unfortunately, she hadn’t noticed the prices when she was reading reviews online, so she experienced a bit of sticker shock when she saw how much money they were. There was no way they could do without one.
Then she got the idea to shop for a Johnson pet door on the Internet. She hadn’t thought of this option at first because the product is so big and bulky that she figured it would be easier to just get it from the store.
She checked out a few websites and saw that shipping expenses wouldn’t be as much as she feared. In addition, the prices these websites were offering for Johnson pet doors were absolutely incredible!
Even with the shipping charges, they would still be saving at least 15% off the prices at local stores. And this way, she wouldn’t have to struggle with trying to loading the Johnson pet door into her car.
It came, and after five minutes it was installed and the dogs learned how to use it. All in all, I’m not exaggerating when I say that our Johnson pet door has been one of the smartest purchases our family has ever made!
While my mom no longer makes that commute because she works at home, we can still be gone all day to the beach or wherever and know that our dogs have the freedom to go outside whenver they want.
