Senior Pugs

Little Angels Pug Rescue works to find homes for unwanted Pugs. My aunt volunteers with them, driving to various shelters in her area to pick up Pugs that have been dropped off by their owners.

Many of these Pugs are old. Many were used for breeding, to make money for their keepers. I can’t imagine taking any of my dogs to a shelter, especially when they are old and I have had years to grow attached to them.

Here’s a slide show produced by Little Angels Pug Rescue. I thought you would enjoy seeing pictures of some of the Pugs they have rescued.

In the slide show you will see Precious and Chubbs, two Pugs whose owner was bringing them to the animal shelter. Thankfully my aunt happened to be there picking up another pug and was able to intercept and rescue the two pugs before they were turned into the shelter.

Butters is another Pug mentioned in the slide show that was rescued by my aunt. His owner just didn’t want him any more. He is very old and my aunt and uncle are providing him a comfortable home to live out his life.

Although this is not a video, it is very well done and I would like to share it with you. Just click on the link below.
