Dog’s Life - 2
Here’s another great video by the same person who has created several about her Labrador Retrievers. This couple is amazing in how they easily handle several large dogs. They apparently take them out quite often to run and swim at nearby fields and lakes, which the dogs love.
The ancestors of today’s Labrador Retriever were all-purpose water dogs in Newfoundland. Sadly, that breed, which was called St. John’s Newfoundland, died out because of a heavy dog tax.
The thousands and thousands of Labrador Retreiver owners can thank the people who thought to take the breed to England in the early 1800s. In England the breed was crossed with other retrievers, giving us the wonderful Labrador Retreiver breed like we see in this video: Dog’s Life 2
