Learn to Draw Your Pets
Have you ever wished you could draw beautiful pictures of your dog? I have. That’s why I’m taking art lessons with Sandra. She’s been teaching art for about 18 years and has a proven track record of taking terrible drawers and turning them into artists.
Sandra has been working for a year to provide online art lessons so anyone with a computer and internet connection can learn how to draw beautifully. Check it out here: Discover Art with Sandra
The link takes you to her blog. Click the “More” link and you will be taken to her blog post that offers discounts to the first 50 to sign up.
On the blog site you’ll see (on the right) a cat that is sitting in the windowsill. One of my assignments was to draw that cat. It isn’t as hard as it looks after you learn how to see things as lines and shapes.
Even if you aren’t one of the first 50 to get the discount, it’s still worth signing up for lessons. She offers free lessons, too, to get your started.
Be sure to look at her gallery of artwork on her Web site. She has some of her beautiful artwork posted there, including some of her animal portraits.
If you read the whole blog post you will read how 3 years ago her home and all of her art burned up in a fire. It was devastating.
I’ve known Sandra all my life, and she is a fantastic teacher, a first-rate artist, and a caring person. She drew a portrait of me when I was four months old. The portrait was included in a magazine which my mom kept a copy of.
To see her new Web site you have to go through her blog. If you have ever wished you could draw pictures of your pets, Sandra is the one to teach you. Her knowledge combined with your time, work, and practice, you can be drawing your pets like a professional.
