About Me
Hi. My name is Christy. Thank you for visiting my site.
My mom is helping me put this site together. We both love dogs and wanted to help others know how to choose a dog and then live with their dog.
I have two dogs of my own, a chihuahua, Sugar, and a mixed breed, Trudy. We adopted Trudy from the shelter 10 years ago after our Miniature Schnauzer died. We don't know what she is, but she kind of looks like a brindle colored pug/chihuahua/boston terrier mix.
Sugar was a stray in our neighborhood about 2 years ago. After he had been roaming our street for a few days my mom said I could go bring him home. He's been with us ever since. He's named after a wise, elderly man in the movie Waterproof.
We also have a Border Collie/Sheltie named Scout. He's kind of my dog, too, but I share him with my parents. I had wanted a collie ever since I can remember and then one day, in 2002, my aunt called to say a neighbor was having to give up their dog because he needed more space to run. My aunt said he looked like a collie, so my mom said we could take him and I finally got my collie.
My brother has a Cocker Spaniel mix that he adopted from a shelter. My brother had to put his Cocker Spaniel to sleep awhile ago and really missed him. When he saw Tiger at the shelter, he looked just like his other dog and so we adopted him.
We also have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Bonnie. We adopted her from another shelter. She is very sweet, but after she killed several of our chickens we had to send her to live with my aunt. I miss her but I get to see her every week when I go visit. It's part of her nature to go after birds and small animals.
I hope you enjoy our site and that you come back often.

Christy, you have a fatastic portal site deveolping here. I want to suggest that you immediately start using AdSense on your site to generate passive income from Google as well as the affiliate link you already use. I suggest Joel Comm's book The Adsense Code.
Again, great job! This is the kind of portal sites I love to see and am working on myself.
Best wishes for the future.
You go girl!
